Bolton League Cricket Legends - Duncan Worsley
Duncan Robert Worsley became the first player in Bolton League Cricket to scored 10000 runs and take 1000 wickets in his career. He was born in Farnworth on 18th July 1941 and was a left-hand batsman and right-arm off-spin bowler.
Duncan Played first-class cricket for Lancashire & Oxford University from 1961-1967.
By then end of his Bolton League career, playing for Bradshaw, Farnworth and Heaton, he had scored 10423 runs and taken 1137 wickets.
