Report : After a good start by FSC, the Heaton bowlers managed to restrict them to a very modest total. In reply, on a day when the swing bowlers were in their element, Dean Eckersley produced a top spell. The feature of this game was the lack of consistency & quality of umpiring decisions that would make anyone wonder if the rules had suddenly been changed. How many more times this season will the Heaton team struggle to make 100 runs against mediocre opposition, we wonder?
