Report : Heaton were in early trouble after losing the toss, but an excellent fourth wicket stand between Mike Ward and Paul Rayment saw the home side post a potential match-winning score. Farnworth replied in positive fashion and it was only after the dismissal of Chris Barrow and Dave Tonge that the shutters came down - that was before the rain ended the game with one over left - another frustrating day.
