Report : Farnworth struggled early on in their innings but valuble contributions from Dean Eckersley, Kevin Murray and Darren Mullineux saw them to a relatively easy target. All the Heaton batsman struggled on a deteriating pitch against Eckersley as the ball continually popped up off a length. It was more a fight for survival than a run chase with some poor shot selection not helping matters.
