This will be based on all Bolton League first team League & Cup matches for the 2008 season.
Cricket World, Bolton have renewed the sponsorship of the Fantasy Cricket Competition this summer. You can visit their website at www.cricketsupplies.com . First Prize will include £200 in cricket vouchers. Second prize will be £50 in cash, while Third prize will be £25 in cash. The prizes will be awarded at the annual cricket league dinner.
1] REGISTRATION : You may register as many teams as you like and each entry will cost £10. To register your team (must be completed before Friday 25th April 2008) please select the players from the available list and fill in the form that will be sent to us. The payment can be made on-line via the PayPal secure service. Go To "Add Teams". No Teams will be entered until the payment has been received. Due to the fact that players may transfer to other clubs/leagues before the start of the season, you may change your team at any time before the season commences.
2] TEAM MEMBERS : Each Team will have 11 players of which you will select :1 Professional, 1 Wicket Keeper, 2 All-Rounders, 4 Batsman, 3 Bowlers.
3] PLAYER RATING : Every Player on the list will have a rating and when selecting your team the Total Rating of all players must not exceed 100. In the event that a selected player ends up moving to a different league before the season has started, you will be able to choose a different player.
4] POINTS : points will be awarded per player according to the current season statistics published on the Bolton cricket League website. The points are awarded as follows :
Batting Points - 1 point for each runs scored
Bowling Points - 15 points for each wicket taken
Catching & Stumping - 20 points for each victim.
5] TRANSFERS : You will be able to make 1 player transfer at the end of May, June & July respectively. If you transfer a player you will keep the points already obtained for that outgoing player at the time of transfer. You will not receive any accumulated points for the incoming player at the time of transfer, but will receive the points obtained thereafter.
6] UPDATES : The statistics will be updated each week during the season.
