A Horwich U11 side that has only lost 1 game all season against todays Cup final opponents,batted first, against an undefeated Westhoughton side. The first 3 pairs batted very well, each pair putting on exactly 20 runs against some as expected good bowling from Westhoughton. The last Horwich pair put on 31 to give Horwich a very good score of 291 on a slow wet wicket.

Westhoughton never really got going against some tight Horwich bowling and outstanding fielding, and the pressure of runs needed proved to much as the 3rd pair tried in vain to keep up with the run rate.

Horwich won by a massive 60 runs in the end Well done to both sides!!!
