Minutes of meeting held on Thursday 16th Sept 2004,
At Astley Bridge C.C @ 7.45pm start.

The Minutes of the last meeting where read by the Secretary and approved as a correct record.
David Clitheroe had been asked to send out a questionnaire to all clubs asking there opinion about Junior Cricket below are his findings:
A brief discussion took place and a vote taken on the U11, U13 and U15 findings 11 clubs where in favour. In regard to U18’s clubs where unsure on the format , the acting Chairman asked clubs to send their ideas to David Clitheroe before the next meeting.
Richard Dearden gave a short presentation from his coaching committee , see below.
A vote was taken on the content and the committee agreed that Richard was to get on with implementing it, with the proviso that four other people from the committee where in attendance on the next meeting of the cricket committee in regard to the finance of the project.
There was only one report and this was by Ian Cavill the U11’s Secretary in regard to the Walkden Tournament. His expressed his disappointment that the competition had not been rearranged because this was the highlight of the U11’s season and asked the representative from Walkden to take that back to his Club. It was decided that the trophies for the Season 2004 be awarded as per the League Table, meaning Horwich where Champions and Bradshaw runners up. A question was also asked that where Bradshaw right to charge £2 match fee for the U18’s Final , the Acting Chairman will look into this. Congratulations were also given to all the winners of all the Leagues and Cups.
Mike Buckley the assistant to the League Welfare Officer expressed his disappointment that the people that had been sent forms to fill in had not returned them and stated that this cannot continue. The acting Chairman stated that the forms must be returned or the people involved could have no position within the Bolton Cricket League for 2005.
Roy Stafford is on with this and will attend the next meeting with his findings.
Clubs where reminded that the meeting for averages is Monday 4th Oct 8pm @ Bradshaw C.C, no claims will be accepted after this meeting.

Astley Bridge would thanked everyone who turned up to the Roy Thomason Memorial Trophy.
Derick Kay the acting Chairman thanked everyone on behalf of Mike Hall and the Bolton Cricket league for all the had work during the season.
