Interim Junior Cricket Arrangements

As a result of the resignation of Mike Buckley from the role of Junior Secretary there is a need to review our arrangements.

It goes without saying that Mike will be missed and we should take this opportunity to thank him for his loyal service to the League and for his hard work in helping to improve Junior Cricket.

The following are proposed arrangements to ensure we continue to operate effectively:

1.         The regular Junior Committee will meet in September to review the season and in November to consider rule changes.  A Junior Sub Committee will be formed under the auspices of the Leagues Management Committee.

2.         Bill Elkin who is the elected Junior Representative on the Management Committee will chair the sub committee.

3.         The sub committee to be made up of the Age Group Secretaries and also Tracy Brookes who is responsible for Play Cricket administration.

4.         All communications with the clubs on junior matters will be via Tracy Brookes using email: boltonjuniorcricketleague@hotmail.com

Tracy will then forward to the Junior Age group Secretaries and Bill Elkin.

5.         The sub committee will deal with protests and for the R&C to act as the appeals panel. The Leagues Disciplinary panel will hear disciplinary matters.
