| What this means is that unless
the professional is 1] a test player, or 2] held a Work Permit in 2005, they
will need to apply for a Work Permit as a Player/Coach. If they are not yet
a qualified coach, they will need to attend an ECB coaching clinic during the UK
summer. Fill out a WP3 Work Permit Form and
send this together with a signed contract stating the full wages & expenses,
cost of flights,
duration of the contract & fixture list. Apparently there is no
stipulation that an overseas player has to play a certain number of 1st
class matches. |
