Report

After winning the toss, the Eagley professional & captain, Mike O'Rouke, played a good innings to help his side to a very respectable Hamer-Cup total. Farnworth were immediately under pressure at 9 for 4 wickets but the pro, Parchment steadied the ship. When he departed after another good innings for Farnworth, the team had slumped to 130 for 6 and victory for Eagley looked inevitable. Chris Barrow entered the frame and played a captains role to guide his team to victory with eleven overs to spare.
