This was a very enjoyable game even though it was the first ever competitive cricket match for some of the players.  It is hoped to encourage more Under 9s friendly matches in the Bolton Junior League.

The Lancashire Girls Under 15's cricket team had a convincing win over Northumberland at St Anne’s Cricket Club on Thursday 31^st May. Seven girls from the Bolton Association and Bolton League were members of  the squad; Elissa Murphy (Astley Bridge), Emma Foy (Standish), Chloe Wallwork  (Walshaw), Jenny Hobbiss (Heaton), Emma Stott (Spring View), Rachel Kershaw (Lostock) and Emma Calvert (Lostock).
